From Our Outpost to Your Basecamp

When the mountains call, your gear shouldn't keep you waiting.

At Boreal Peak Outfitters, we understand that the window for a successful summit push or a long-weekend canoe trip in Algonquin Park is fleeting. You need your equipment, and you need it fast. Our shipping and dispatch protocols are treated with the same meticulous attention to detail as the DWR-coated ripstop nylon we use in our expedition tents. We run our fulfillment center in Banff, Alberta like a well-oiled expedition basecamp—precise, relentless, and focused on the objective.

Every piece of gear that leaves our facility is hand-inspected by our seasoned team of wilderness experts. We check the zippers, we verify the loft of the down, and we ensure that when you crack open that box, you're looking at equipment that's ready to face the harshest conditions the Canadian Shield can throw at you.

Processing Your Expedition Kit

Your journey begins the moment you hit order. Here is how we handle your gear:

Delivery Routes & Timelines

We traverse the massive expanse of Canada, from the misty coastlines of Tofino to the craggy shores of Newfoundland. Here is what you can expect when our logistics partners take the reins.

Canadian Rockies

Standard Ground Trek

Our most popular option for the patient explorer. Utilizing a network of trusted freight carriers, this option typically sees your gear arrive in 3 to 7 business days. Perfect for planning ahead for that summer traverse of the Great Divide Trail.

Winter Expedition

Alpine Express

When the storm front is moving in and you need that -40°C down sleeping bag yesterday, Alpine Express delivers. Expect your gear in 1 to 3 business days via priority air cargo. We skip the ground routes and fly it straight to your local hub.

Remote & Northern Outposts

We believe every Canadian deserves access to premium survival gear, whether you live in downtown Toronto or a fly-in community in Nunavut. For addresses in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, and other extremely remote regions, please allow an additional 5-10 business days for delivery. Bush planes and ice roads dictate their own schedules, and we work with specialized northern couriers to get your package safely to the edge of the world.

Tracking Your Journey

Stay informed from the moment it leaves our hands to the moment it reaches yours.

The instant our courier scans your parcel at the Banff loading dock, a dispatch email is fired off to your inbox. This contains your Expedition Tracking Code. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking map to update—sometimes the signal from the valley takes a moment to reach the satellites.

If your package encounters an unexpected blizzard or logistics avalanche, our Outpost Support Team is monitoring the situation. If your gear hasn't arrived within 10 days of your shipping confirmation, radio us at our outpost contact page and we'll dispatch a search party (or, more likely, track it down directly with the carrier manager).
